What We Inspect and Why

A home inspection is a visual examination of the home's primary structure, systems, and components that are visible and safely accessible. Buying a home is typically the most significant investment you will ever make, so getting a home inspection is essential. The inspector can find and document defects that may or may not be evident to you as a prospective buyer.  Such defects can range from simple replacements or repairs to severe damage, safety, and health concerns.

First and foremost, I highlight and celebrate being a father, husband, and safety professional, not just an inspector.

I perform safety-driven home inspections as if I plan on moving my wife and children into that home, and I promise this attention to detail for you and your family, too. In addition, I pride myself on servant leadership, accountability, a relatable and friendly personality, and a relentless pursuit of helping others. These are pillars of my identity and a home inspector force multiplier!

Establishing genuine relationships is vital to me.
I have championed this approach throughout my personal life, military service, and career as a certified safety professional. This is a golden rule I anchor to and a building block life lesson my wife and I empower our children with.

Inspections can and should be approachable, educational, and enjoyable.
I enjoy explaining what I am doing, observing, and finding out loud, and I aim to make the inspection engaging and educational. I want you to know that it's my job and mission to inform you of the condition of all aspects of the home I can and, most importantly, that the home is safe for you and your family.

Think Safe, Act Safe, Be Safe,
Sam
